If you missed part 1 of my New Jersey tour, you can check it out here. Now on to part 2.
Stop 4: Hospital Book Donation
After a great day at Brookside Elementary, I headed over to the Hackensack University Medical Center with Brookside Elementary Westwood PTO President Danielle Sammarco-Bortz, to donate copies of JUST ADD MAGIC and LOST IN LONDON to the Pediatric Outpatient Unit.
Me with the lovely team of dedicated professionals at HUMC!
Stop 5: Second School visit
In the morning I visited Brookside School in Allendale. THIS is a dramatic reading in action. High drama, people.
Stop 6: Third School Visit
The next day, I visited Berkeley Elementary School in Westwood, New Jersey. I spoke to the students and did an interview with the Bergen Record.
Stop 7: Fourth School Visit
My final stop was at Heights Elementary School in Oakland, New Jersey, where I first penned the sequel to Grease circa 1977. (seriously.)
Thanks so much for letting me share the photos of my fabulous tour with you! I hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed meeting so many great kids and teachers! Check out some news clips from my tour here.
thank you for visiting Brookside School in Allendale! My daughter is smitten, and is now reading Lost in London on her Kindle.
That’s a great compliment! Thanks for commenting. BTW, the name of the main character for the book I am currently working on is GWEN!
